How you like the 350/203? I have one in my blazer , and it sucks. I was told it was part time , but i dunno how to tell. I might be interested in the setup you have there though.

It worked for me. I never broke a chain and I am not easy on my truck. It was built to be beat. I have around 375hp out of my motor with the gears and tires listed, and also run a 2500 stall converter. Never had any problems other than the leak. It shifts very quick, and you have to go through the gears like you would a stick/ upshifting and downshifting.

The easiest way to tell is to jack the rear tires off of the ground and put the tcase in 4 high, not 4 loc. And see if the front tires try to pull you foward in gear if you don't have lockouts. If you have lockouts do the same, but unlock the hubs and see if your front driveshaft spins. That is safer, but either will tell you. Also if you have lockouts and have a buddy you can unlock them drive foward and your buddy can see if your front shaft spins.

I believe NP203's have five positions with or without the part time kit in it. Either way the partime kit will not add or subract any more selections.

4 high loc
4 high
neutral
4 low
4 low loc

something of that sorts, I cannot remeber the exact patern. If you have a partime kit in it where it says loc is when you will be in 4 wheel and the others will be two wheel.

4 high
2 high
neutral
2 low
4 low
