Well if the indiana boy did it right the first time.... naw j/k but really i just figured out a way to get the bar lower and still clear the hood since i narrowed it and can't use the stock hinges.
Btw does anyone have any ideas on what to use for hinges, im going to attach one side to the tube and the other to the top of the hood.

Hey, I built it so it would open with the stock hinges per the owners request!

Hood pin it...

yea i know it fit pretty tight with the hood open and the wipers up but since i narrowed it and the stock hinges wouldn't work i decided to lower it. It really obstructed the view out the front.

I was going to use pins at all four corners but was thinking about attaching hinges to the lower bar and the top of the hood. kinda jeep style

I need to find some hinges that will work. Maybe something with removable pins for easier hood removal.
