Well lost another stub this weekend! Time to upgrade to the 35 spline, as well as beefier short and long side. Found some flanges for 180, going to go ahead and order them. Steering still sucks ass. Going to get a hold of ORD and go big or go home.

Ya I cashed both of mine on the last few. I am hoping that I didn't this time, but more than likely with the luck that I am having. I haven't tore it all down yet. I don't want to even mess with it at the moment. Never would of thought 35" tires would reek such havoc on a 60 in the mud.

So you are saying it is driver error. I like the skinny pedal. Only one I know how to use.

New shafts are in! and flanges too.

Well got to messing around Yesterday. The spindle was till good so I got lucky there. The passengers side was ready to break with the splines all twisted up after one run.

Here is the new spicer beef. Bigger inners and 35 spline outers.

The new drive flanges from East Coast gear.

Sorry for the shitty cell phone pics.

Well hank's was a bust for me. I should of just stayed home. I ran the drags and the bog. And had a piss poor showing in both. I ended up getting one of my brake lines ripped off when going through the mud pit and did not know it. I went to stop in the pits to line up to get it on my trailer when I realized it..... crack right into another guys race truck. Hit the tire with my bumper then it jumped over it. creasing the lower quarter over the door and door seem and up on top where my headlight bezel hit. On a down hill of course, rolling at less than a walking speed. Only damage to mine is some red paint on the bumper and a small dent on the fender. Wouldn't of even known it, but the mud was smudged. Now I really hate the pits at lasalle speedway!!!!. The guy was cool with it, didn't seem too pissed anyway. An expense none the less I don't need.

Well the old girl has been put to rest for the winter. I raced the last race a little on edge. I have broken one of the studs in the 60 housing for the leaf spring mount. Being a must race for the points for the year I ran it anyway.

I also went to hydraulic assist, and crossover. WOW! what a difference. I should have done it a long time ago. I bought the ram and lines from east coast gear and picked up a 2wd box on my own. Crossover came from ORD and fit perfect. I told them I had a dodge 60 and figured there may be some trimming, but spot on. Drilled and tapped the box in about an hour. Easy as pie. I haven't added a aux tank or cooler and works fine. I do think I am going to modify the pressure and flow of the stock pump, but works great without.
