![]() I had to shorten the steering column, I cut the sectioned the outer housing and took 1.75" out of the steering shaft.

![]() I see the steel support bolted to the UHMW, but do the 4 bolts that go to the chassis go thru the UHMH and the support thats bolted to it? Just thinking it may get ripped off eventually if not?

![]() The uhmw is attached to the 3/16 steel with twelve 3/8ths countersunk bolts. The the four 1/2" bolts that attach it to the chassis don't go through the uhmw. The uhmw is cut out so the bolt heads are below the surface of the uhmw.
