Well here is this afternoon's progress. The front and rear d shafts are within 2.5" in length, so Will is going to make a spare with extra slip. Time for all the little stuff.

Steering is done. Tranny is about hooked up and d shafts are ordered. Brakes lines to do, and we're putting in a 2 door 1/2 ton Blazer gas tank due to the divorced t case.

How the t case bracketry works:

And the garage got a 30,000 btu natural gas heater installed today, nice to be warm!

Work will resume again tonight, Will took off Monday for work and gets back today. He ended up going with a 1/2T Blazer gas tank to relocate it behind the rear axle since with the divorced t case the stock tank had to be moved back and was too close for comfort to the rear axle tube. He has extended all the fuel lines and wiring. Made up a trick TV cable bracket for the TB, and Will hand fab'd a nice tranny shifter bracket last week.

Gas tank skid and bracketry to hang it from the frame is done and should get put on tonight. Rear driveshaft should be in and the list is:

-Shocks all around
-Brake lines
-Front winch cradle
-Front bumper
-Anti-wrap bar for the rear since we have plenty of room with the gas tank relocated
-Dual exhaust

I sense that a test drive is near!

If the "other one" is Philip's truck, that'll start getting some good progress here in a few weeks when he drops off the rest of the parts. Been kind of nice though, since I could help Will on the Tahoe. Got the gas tank hung lastnight, will update with pics tonight maybe.

Thanks, the extra work will be worth it when its done!
Plans are to get everything done and off for powdercoat including the front bumper. So shocks etc are being done last.

Will only plans to really beat the shit out of it if Philip gets us tubing for sliders!

This may be on the truck tomorrow. It'll have D ring mounts as well.
